Phillips & Crown
Teaming up with the wonderful Kathleen Phillips, Phillips & Crown have written and performed a super series of wonderfully silly and original mini-operettas. The two have a full-length show called “Phillips & Crown: Our Lives Work” that premiered in May, 2010, at the Bread & Circus Theatre in Toronto.
The Remainders
Katie and her dear friend Ryan V. Hays formed this
duo after being forced to be a team during the early days of Catch 23 Improv. They ended up bringing the Remainders to the Toronto Fringe Festival in 2005, got rave reviews, and now continue to blow people away to this very day with their beautiful voices and ridiculous minds. Oh, they really are fantastic.
Knock, Knock. (Who’s There?) Comedy!
Katie started doing comedy, more or less, with a sketch troupe that formed during her last year of university. KK(WT?)C! is comprised of herself, Aaron Eves, Dave Derelawny and Adam Brodie. After a few years of successful shows (founders of the Comedy And A… Series, along with Bob Wiseman and comedy troupe, The Distractions), the troupe got a development deal for a series with the Comedy Network that later fell through. You know how it is.
